Rotary is the world’s first service club. The first club was founded in Chicago on Feb. 23rd, 1905

Rotary is an International organization with more than 33,000 clubs in over 200 countries worldwide. Our principal motto is “Service Above Self” and the object of this club and all Rotary clubs is to encourage and foster this ideal as a basis of worthy enterprise.

It’s an organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide with over 1.2 million members providing humanitarian service, encouraging high ethical standards and helping to build goodwill and peace in the world.

Rotary’s polio eradication program has resulted in more then 2 billion children in developing nations immunized through polio plus grants. Rotary Clubs throughout the world continue to work toward the total eradication of polio, with the help of a generous donation from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
